Dear Concerned Mom,
It sounds like you're doing your job right. It wouldn't be normal if we didn't worry about our children's well being, even when they are all grown up. You don't just stop being a parent. If you're concerned about your daughter, then I see no problem in expressing your concerns to her...once...maybe twice. Let's remember that there is a difference between expressing yourself and nagging. There's a point when you need to step back and trust that you did your job and taught her all the importnant things she needs to care for her own family. Take pride in the woman you raised her to be and enjoy those grand babies..they have a lot to learn from you!

Hi "Mom",
ReplyDeletehere is my question...I have this great daughter with a husband and two toddlers, My concern is that she works soo hard...Kids, work etc. I worry that she isnt taken time to take care of herself...eating right, getting enough sleep, taking mutivitamins... should I talk to her about my concerns or should I mind my own business.
